Compassionate Therapy for Healing, Growth, and Lasting Change
A collaborative, insight-oriented space to navigate relational overwhelm, rediscover your voice, and move from surviving to truly thriving.
About me…
I’m Cat Chapman, MA, LPC-S — a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and professionals through meaningful life change.
My work integrates insight-oriented therapy and cognitive behavioral approaches within a relational, trauma-informed framework. I help clients understand the roots of their patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and move from survival mode into clarity and self-trust.
As a Certified Health Coach, I thoughtfully incorporate grounding, breathwork, and nervous system regulation into therapy. Healing isn’t just cognitive — it’s embodied.

A Deeper Focus: Complex Trauma & Relational Wounds
I am particularly passionate about working with adults navigating Complex PTSD — often rooted in emotionally immature, high-conflict, or narcissistic family systems.
Early relational trauma can show up as chronic self-doubt, emotional over-responsibility, suppressed anger, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling “too much” or “not enough.” Together, we process unresolved grief, strengthen your voice, and help you reclaim clarity, agency, and self-trust.
Experience with Adolescents, Families & School Systems
With over two decades of experience in schools (K–12) — as a teacher, special education educator, school counselor, and learning specialist — I bring deep understanding of academic systems, accommodations, executive functioning challenges, and adolescent development.
This background allows me to:
• Support adolescents navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, and identity development
• Help parents better understand and communicate with their adolescents
• Provide consultation around school systems, learning differences, and behavioral concerns
Whether working directly with adolescents or consulting with parents, I bring both clinical and systems insight to the table.
Clinical Supervision
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), I mentor developing counselors with a holistic approach — supporting both professional growth and personal wellbeing.
With experience across business, school counseling, non-profit work, group facilitation, private practice, and telehealth, I bring a broad, grounded perspective to supervision.
My approach
I offer a collaborative, encouraging, thought-provoking, and thoughtful therapy space where insight leads to meaningful change. My work integrates Insight-oriented and cognitive behavioral therapies with a relational and trauma-informed perspective, helping clients better understand patterns, strengthen boundaries, and develop greater emotional clarity.
